FOLLADOR 2018: AWARDS
It’s called “5 Star Wines- The Book” and it’s a wine judging event followed by the publication of the findings of wine professionals with scores for wines deemed worth of inclusion in the Vinitaly-branded list. The goal of the publication is to reward and report on wineries that work to constantly improve the quality of product; and it’s used as guide for both enthusiasts and international buyers. This year a commission composed of Masters of Wine, sommeliers and specialized journalists evaluated 2,688 wines, presented by 935 wineries from 14 countries. Only wines achieving a score of 90 or above are included in the book.
