With cycling fervour all around us we though what better a time to highlight the delights of exploring Prosecco Country than by bike.  Cycling is one of the best ways to explore the Prosecco Region. It is faster than walking and more peaceful and at one with nature than a car or motorbike. It gives you the opportunity to explore the stunning scenery and cover great areas of the route.

With this in mind there are various companies within Conegliano and Valdobbiadene that offer cycling packages, including bike hire and accomodation, along with tours and tastings at winerys.

In September there is even ‘Prosecco Cycling, Into the Wine Garden’. This is the ultimate celebration of the end of the harvest. 3000 people line up and take part in the Prosecco Granfondo starting in the centre of Valdobiaddene. Participants are waved off the start line by waiters with bottles of wine and after a short uphill cycle it is a fast descent through the winding hills and prosecco vineyards of our home  A typical Italian celebration and  cycling event,we are looking forward to it already!
